Following the lead of most leading Marina’s in Australia, Killcare Marina has in joint venture with Myport Wireless Internet become a wireless internet hotspot.
This service allows marina customers, visiting boaters, local residents and the general public located in and around the Hardys Bay area, access to a high speed broadband connection for surfing the internet and accessing their email. The service has been tested to the outer extremity of Hardys Bay with high signal strength.
We foresee that many local residents and holiday makers will make use of this facility particularly those that don’t require a full time broadband service. The introduction of this service is seen by us as a small step to obtaining our ultimate goal which is to become the leading Marina in Brisbane Waters, with a full range of services that customers now demand.
Once signed in as a Myport customer, clients will be able to access the internet at any Myport hotspot. Current locations can be found at the Myport's web-site http://www.myport.com.au

Other than physically hosting the equipment Killcare Marina has no administrative capability for this service and all enquiries in relation to the service should be directed to Myport via their website or alternatively on their phone number.
The service is not a profit centre for the marina. Payment and signup can be made directly via Myport’s website.
